Reasonably priced, gorgeous location, fine staff.

It was a terrific experience in an unique hotel. Everything was good, its staff and rooms, plus free wi-fi. Good pool and rocky beach. Ideally based in trendy area. I liked indoor restaurant.

I appreciated the top location and the staff was fair. And it also had exceptional view. Courteous service here. There was an astonishing restaurant, shops and a supermarket next door. Furthermore, it was just a pleasant stroll away from blandy's wine lodge distillery.

Loved this place, it was spotlessly clean and had EXCEPTIONAL staff and location. Location short walk to - the sea and Funchal. Furthermore, the hotel was within walking distance of a large sloping park.

Everything was superb, very well-trained staff and very scenic location. Comfy beds, balcony, air conditioning and big windows were a nice touch. A wonderful beach, absolutely stunning view. Also, the venue was only 1 km to cathedral of our lady of the assumption.

I liked sleeping 10 nights in this hotel. Good service, very friendly professional staff, breathtaking location. Room was very pretty and very pretty, included balcony, climate control and big windows. It was ideally located, easy to move around. I checked out jardim municipal funchal, that was set around 10-15 minutes walk from the property.

Satisfied with the hotel, it's an excellent base for staying in Funchal. Rooms are good sized and they have coffee and armchairs;)))

It deserves its 4 stars. The staff and food are good. A terrace was the best part. 15 mins walk to the centre. Found dona amelia restaurant, set minutes away from the hotel, ate there a few times.

Breakfast was tasty! We visited one of our favourite spots santa catarina park that was really close to the hotel...

if we return to funchal we would love to go back. the pool was a bonus for relaxing.
